It was market-day again so I walked uptown. Here are some views from a famous bridge in the city. Maybe infamous would be a better term - the bridge is well-known as a spot for suicides, especially during the holidays.
(Above) You can vaguely see the railings which slant inward, to discourage possible jumpers.
(Above & Below) The view of the city below is amazing. Supposedly the bridge is watched closely during the holidays. Anyone looking suspicious or loitering is approached by a city employee offering them hot chocolate and an offer for a nice chat.
