Even in a multi-lingual city like Lausanne, one can find translation errors. These were both found on the bus.
(Above) Possibly translated from "Je m'enracine encore" which might make more sense as "My ideas have taken root again". Or you know, maybe I made it up.
(Above) I'm guessing they were going for "ALIVE!" 
Saw this sign again on another bus. And I took the time to actually read what it was advertising...apparently it's for English lessons. So the mistake is probably on purpose. Kind of a let down...
ReplyDeleteyep. it is an incorrect word for word translation of "Je me suis encore plantée" or "I messed it up once again". It took me a year to figure that one out...
