Market Morning

Wednesday and Saturday mornings are market days in the center of town. It was rather cold today, but I perservered.

(Above) My favorite part - seeing the spices piled in giant bowls like this.

(Above) Thought about buying meat but then didn't - they eat horse here...and I really don't want to do that.

(Above) Why yes, I would like to buy my cheese from your van!

(Above) I ended up with some avocados that were hand-selected for me (whoot!), goat cheese, a cocca bread which was sweet and sort of like a spongy corn bread, and some pears.
